It has finally happened. This first course has been a long time in the making. If you consider six semesters worth of trial and error has culminated into the structure and tutorials of “Photoshop – Where Do I Start?”
Now you can learn Photoshop on your own, with easy detailed tutorials. Or you can have one-on-one sessions with me! So, if you are not comfortable on your own, you have support. Learning Curve also has a private Facebook Community where you can ask questions, and get answer from me. Also students can share knowledge, and showcase their work. Once you sign up, you will receive a link to request an invite.
You work with videos and written instructions with images. This helps those who are visually, auditory, and tactilely inclined. Learning is doing. These projects walk you though the basics of various aspects of Photoshop. All the materials are provided, so there is no kicking about looking for images to work on.
This is not about key codes and expert design knowledge. Key codes are great, but first you need to know what the function is, and where to get it. Once you know where it is located, you can memorize a key code. This has been a big complaint about more advanced tutorials. Many of these try to include every tool, and function. The capabilities of Photoshop are endless. Depending on what you plan to use it for, you can go off in many directions. You can spend years mastering it, and then it will change and offer more.
Have you ever tried to follow a video tutorial on YouTube? It’s not easy to rewind to replay the last step. It can be hard to see what the instructor is doing. As a professor, I watched my students struggle with video tutorials. Often they are outdated, which is not helpful. The written tutorial with images has proved the best method for most. On Learning Curve I combine both. It is helpful to watch a demonstration, then to follow the PDF to complete it on your own.
By the time you complete this course, you will have the confidence to maneuver around Photoshop, and have a platform to grow from.
There, Learning Curve just made your Photoshop learning experience, short, sweet, and to the point!
Check it out!
